My background in the hobby
Growing up in Findlay, Ohio, I started collecting sports cards in 1982. I began specifically collecting all things related to Michael Jordan in 1984. My collection ventured into newspaper articles, magazine articles and covers, tickets and ticket stubs, posters, clothing, sneakers and of course cards. My personal collection highlights include three unopened boxes of 1986-87 Fleer, one unopened box of 1987-88 Fleer, and five unopened boxes of 1988-89 Fleer, all of which I am the original owner of.
Ultimate Treasures
In 2014 we sold, packaged and distributed a hobby chase box called, Ultimate Treasures. The boxes of Ultimate Treasures consisted of 4 Series, each series with different guaranteed hits.
CardBoard Kings Sports Cards
In 2015 after a decade of on-line business, we opened our first brick & mortar hobby store called CardBoard Kings. A year later we opened up a new location called CardBoard Kings on Broadway.
